Bud's Boys Week in Review 6/17-6/20 Three days of play to look at plus the Bingo wrap up. But first a couple of things on the mind. Bud's Boys suggestion of the day. As the temperature is on the rise, we must do our best to handle the conditions. We already know that we should hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and also seek shade when possible. But how about considering the following.  The group behind you is ready to hit, ready to move on. Let's try to help out by moving out as quickly as possible.  We thank everyone who keeps score of course, but how about moving to the next tee before filling in the card? Every little bit helps. Another possibility, especially if you are the passenger in the cart, take your swing and get in the cart. Put your headcover back on and put the club in your bag after you move to your next stop. Every second counts on 90 plus heat index days. Tuesday June 17  Fourteen BB's signed in for Tuesday play. Play of the day was Random Skin. Scott returned ...

BB's Flag Day Father's Day Edition Hope you had a wonderful Flag Day Saturday and are having a great Father's Day. Three days of golf to report on and the Bingo update in today's post. We start off, however, with Tuesday's presentation of the May 'Golfer of the Month". Butch, Bud's Boys official gift presenter, came through again. Top performers included a 37 point +6 for Glen and a 30 point +5 for Rick. Statistical oddity of the day was that 6 players turned in the score of -4.  But the 'Big Dog' of the day was Clint who had his best round of golf since the Dodgers left Brooklyn. ...

The water was high enough to wash out Thursday and Friday play, but Tuesday and Wednesday provided plenty of BB's and some mighty fine golfing. Rick had the best score of the two days with a +8 on Tuesday. Leroy and Bill F double jumped along with Rick with +6's that day. Raymond, Wayne, Glen, and Wilhelm tied for Wednesday Medalist with their +6's advancing their handicaps by 2 as well. Tuesday saw Charlie win his first Bud's Boys CTP. Teammate Tom's birdie on 4 wins the Skin. They add the Back 9 to their win column to take 3 of Tuesday's events. Fadler, Floyd, and Butch take the Front 9 and the Total. Twenty BB's participated. Wednesday saw us jump up to 22 golfers, of which the 4 previously mentioned BB's tied for Medalist. Don wins his 2nd CTP to prevent the juggernaut team of Rodney, Wayne, Raymond, and Norris from sweeping the 5 events. With Wayne and Raymond's +6's leading the way, they easily sweep the FBT, and Rodney turns a full house ...
