 Bud's Boys, An Acquired Taste It was a week for the 'Money Hogs' as the winning team took 4 (or more) events on 3 of the 4 days played.  It was also a week for razor thin margins of victory as 6 times a team lost an event by a half point. It was also a week to choose your partners wisely. A minus 4 wins $24, a minus 6 wins $25, and a plus 8 wins zilch. A look at the week that was. Butch wins the skin with his birdie on #15, Shelly wins the CTP on #18 Rick is Medalist with +4, saving the last event for his team. Wednesday Card Game Floyd is Medalist with a +8, but fails to cash in at the end of the day. Jeff's +5 also goes for naught. The Bills (F and H), Scott, and Charlie win 4 events, Bill F gets the CTP. Bud's Boys Fall Gazette Though the threat of storms ended the party early, it was still a successful gathering at Floyd's on Saturday Night.  Thanks to Floyd and Karen for being such excellent hosts! Tuesday Skin Game Scoring was a little tough, and each point was crucial as the top 4 teams finished within 2 points of each other with Norris, Doc, and Floyd winning the Total with a +1. Keith falls short on his attempt for 3 CTP's in a row. Ray wins the CTP and Tom's birdie on #7 wins the Random Skin. Wednesday Card Game Ray is top scorer with +6 leading team to victories on the Front 9 and Total. Tom wins the CTP and a Flush wins the card game. Medalist Thursday Roger goes from -8 on Weds to +7 on Thursday to claim Medalist Honors. This leads to 3 of today's 5 events for his team. Bud's Boys October Offerings Tee Time News, Pay Attention! Due to circumstances beyond our control, this week's tee times are as follows. Tuesday starts at 9:34. That means arrive a little sooner. Wednesday is actually normal, 9:50 start. Thursday begins at 9:42, only 8 minutes early. Friday starts at normal 9:50 time but there may or may not be a couple groups in the middle of our group. Floyd's Fish Fry Saturday the 18th I already forgot the starting time, but details will be forthcoming. Weekly Wrap Up Wednesday Card Game had 4 foursomes competing. Although his team didn't win anything, Brandon was the day's Medalist (+4), so he's got that going for him. Tom uses last group privilege to step off his CTP victory. The play of the day, however, was the Card Game. Though they had fewer cards than 2 of the other 3 teams, Tom, Norris, Charlie, and Keith turned this sweet little hand.
